Honestly, one of the toughest decisions I have to make before each show/tour is what gear to bring! For the trio show, I have a few guitars to choose from. I generally bring the Les Paul Jr. as a spare and for any slide guitar playing using open tunings. The P90s are fantastic!
The Tele and Strat are both cheap knock-offs I’ve upgraded and made very playable and they both sound great. They’re perfect travel guitars for the times I don’t want to hand my much-loved archtops to baggage handlers. I’m also likely to grab one of them if I’m on my way to a jam.
As per usual, it comes down to either the blonde archtop or the cherry red 335… Which one should I bring tonight?
